ABOUT
Powerhouse Centre is a unique and versatile venue located 15 mins south of Maroochydore on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. It has several spaces within one venue that can be hired individually or combined together, to create the perfect space for your event, meeting, workshop or class, whatever the size.
Our Centre is a large, contemporary building with an industrial vibe, and offers a variety of choices for your event, whether it be a painting workshop or martial arts class, to a 500 person concert.
Our two auditoriums both have stages and AV equipment. The Main Auditorium is ideal for large gala dinners, award ceremonies, weddings, music or key speaker performances, concerts and more.
The Small Auditorium has a small stage and sound desk - so is ideal for music practice, demonstrations, fitness classes, workshops or kids parties. It is also a great venue for any kind of party or gathering as it can be combined with the Patio space outside for a larger event with the option of a food truck.
As well as the outdoor Patio, our other event spaces include the the Lobby and Cafe, which can be hired for small functions, work parties, networking events and more. Or they can be combined with the Auditoriums for a variety of spaces within one.
There is an onsite car park, plus an abundance of free street parking surrounding the venue.

Our event coordinator is available to help you organise your special event, or to work with an Events Company. We can also put you in touch with trusted local suppliers for catering, theming, decorations, games and live music.
